Hide & Seek

The best thing about having four days off in a row?

My level of stress and general need-to-get-things-done is remarkably lower.

Which means that last night, when Jon engaged in a sudden hiding spot and Elle got a good belly laugh out of it, a sudden, out-of-the-blue game of hide-and-seek ensued at our house.

With Elle on my hip, she and I ran back and forth, looking for Jon. It wasn’t lengthy, it wasn’t involved. It wasn’t planned!! It was completely spontaneous and I LOVED it.

The belly laughs that came out of our girlie girl – absolutely made my heart grow. And as Jon ran around the house ‘hiding’ my heart grew for him too.

Love that.
